An animated web series on the Covenants of the Bible. The Divine Communion is a Motion Graphic web series which retells the love story of human salvation through the lens of the covenants. This is the story of Sacred Scripture. It is a collective effort of artists, evangelists, theologians, and entrepreneurs.The Bible is not a series of disconnected books. In fact, when connected, it tells the greatest love story ever told.That love story is God's relentless pursuit for our hearts. Time and time again, he seeks to create a family-relationship with all of humanity by establishing sacred covenants. This dynamic story of life-giving, self-giving love is The Divine Communion, the Story of the Covenants, the story about God wanting you. When two unrelated people enter into a covenant, they become one family. An example of this is adoption. The child and the soon-to-be-parents are not blood related, but they become a family by swearing love and fidelity to one another. Similarly, when we enter into a covenant with God, he becomes our Heavenly Father, and we become his children. No one is naturally a child of God except Jesus Christ. But by the supernatural power of Grace, we are able to enter into a covenant with God and become his children. It is this kind of love that the God of the universe desires for each and everyone of us, a covenant love. There are six covenants in the Bible, each designed to bring humanity into a familial, covenantal relationship with himself. Each has a Mediator, a representative of humanity that receives the covenant established by God. The first mediator is Adam, and the greatest of them all is Jesus Christ, who fulfills all the covenants. She is torn between the choice of keeping or aborting the child in order to fulfill her life long dreams of going to college and keeping her parents aspirations for her alive. Julia, Miranda's older sister who is in college comes to visit home after receiving the news that her younger sister is pregnant and comes to help her in making a decision.
